Michele Craig, LAC

Michele Craig, LAC, provides compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for children, adults, couples, and families. She believes that many emotional struggles, behavioral patterns, and mental health symptoms develop from unhealed trauma and experiences that were never fully processed. As a trauma-informed therapist, Michele helps clients uncover the root causes of their challenges while building practical tools for healing, resilience, and lasting change.

Michele is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and specializes in working with PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, phobias, ADHD, autism, and addictive disorders. She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), CPT, and Art Therapy to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

She has clinical experience supporting individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, trauma, and serious mental illness. Michele has worked in a variety of behavioral health settings, including substance use treatment programs, reentry support services, and community mental health programs serving both adults and children.

Known for her warm, approachable style, Michele creates a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. Her passion is helping people move from simply surviving to truly healing by strengthening self-awareness, developing healthier coping skills, and building more fulfilling lives and relationships.

Michele is also passionate about advocacy and community outreach. She has been involved in initiatives supporting survivors of human trafficking and has participated in professional trainings and community programs focused on improving resources and awareness for vulnerable populations.
